THINKING ASSIGHNMENT

I feel the article is very interesting but absurd. To compare search engines and Google to LSD, and other drugs is ridiculous. It is not an addiction to search for topics, it's a faster and more efficient way to find information without having to go look for hours in libraries. Somebody got bored when they wrote this article, and it shows with the information that was presented.

Alex

Alex is a web based system for everyone involved in the education process. Like ACCESS it is a new project underway, gaining more information to strengthen it. Teachers can get lesson plans, as well as having contact with other teachers. Students will be able to pull up web links to correspond with the material they are learning. It also has a course of study that enables you to search for credible information on your topic.

The Website is very easy to use, allowing students of all ages to interact with it. I find the lesson plans very useful, and in detail on basically any subject being taught. You can also maximize your search options by signing up for for an account which is free of charge.

It provides students with the best internet services to better their education. It also provides teachers with advanced technology to inhance learning for students.

The funding of ACCESS will be provided by the state to kick things off. There is also a great map in the site detailing where the ACCESS sites are located. This is the future of learning, so it is very imparitive that educators and students get familiar with it.
